Ashley Maietta is a Southern California native with a Boston heart. Growing up she found herself documenting just about everything through a lens. Once upgraded from disposable film cameras to something a little more permanent, she began studying and researching the art.

After an initial self teaching, Ashley studied further into and throughout her college career. While attending Emerson College in Boston, MA, she had the opportunity to study Digital Photography abroad in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. The experience introduced her to a new way of looking through the lens, while also opening her eyes to the world. 

Throughout her life, Ashley has developed strong roots in dance and music, so the two became common elements in her photos. While shooting for music/dance events is most common, Ashley also specializes in headshots (both in and out of the studio) and promotional marketing photography.
